Northwestern’s Cody Stevens Battling Back from Horrific Injury

This past June, Cody Stevens of the Northwestern Wildcats baseball team was hit in the head during a summer-league game in West Virginia. The result of the blow was a blood clot in his brain that nearly took his life. While red-shirting this season, Stevens, a junior, is using his injury to try to help others. WNUR Sports’ Gordon Voit has Stevens’ story in the video below. This segment will also air tonight (Thursday, May 1st) on Northwestern News Network’s SportsNight.
