HIGHLIGHTS: Women’s Lax onto Final Four Again

Duke’s Amanda Jones opened the game’s scoring.

Northwestern fell behind 2-0 early.

>Northwestern’s first goal came more than 10 minutes into the game.

The ‘Cats got their second goal less than a minute later to tie the game at 2.

Duke responded with their own 2-goal burst to go up 4-2.

Erin Fitzgerald had a hat trick by halftime. Her second goal tied the game at 4.

Amanda Macaluso’s only shot gave Northwestern a lead that they would take into halftime.

The ‘Cats got the first goal of the 2nd half, the last of a run of 5 straight.

Alyssa Leonard made her impact by controlling 8 draws and scoring this goal.

Northwestern scored 4 unanswered goals to put the game out of reach.

Shannon Smith had a hat trick and scored Northwestern’s 11th and final goal.

Northwestern clinched an 8th consecutive trip to the final four.
