Nick Roach. Roach had 11 tackles (10 solo), two sacks, one tackle for a loss, one quarterback hit and one forced fumble in the Raiders 31-24 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. For the season Roach has 89 tackles (65 solo), 5.5 sacks, five tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles, one interception and two passes defended. According to ESPN NFL Nation Oakland Raiders reporter Paul Gutierrez, Roach is a key cog in the improved Raiders defense. Roach replaced failed first-round draft pick Rolando McClain at middle linebacker in the Raiders defense this year leading to a defensive turnaround. Last year Oakland had the no. 18 rushing defense, where as this year, they are no. 11, allowing a little over 100 yards per game. Additionally, according to Pro Football Focus, Roach has played all 633 snaps this year.
