Northwestern has eight football alumni currently on NFL active rosters.

Here’s how they did this week in the NFL:

Offensive Players

Jeremy Ebert, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars (Northwestern Class of 2012)
Ebert was inactive for the Jaguars 27-20 win over the Houston Texans.

Zach Strief, Offensive Tackle, New Orleans Saints (Northwestern Class of 2006)
Started at offensive tackle in the Saints 31-13 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Defensive Players

Corey Wootton, Defensive End, Chicago Bears (Northwestern Class of 2010)
Two tackles (2 solo) in the Bears 45-28 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Corbin Bryant, Defensive Tackle, Buffalo Bills (Northwestern Class of 2010)

Nick Roach. Roach had nine tackles (8 solo), one tackle for a loss, one forced fumble and one pass defended in the Raiders 37-27 loss to the New York Jets. This is his third straight game with a forced fumble. For the season Roach has 98 tackles (73 solo), 5.5 sacks, five tackles for a loss of 11 yards, four forced fumbles, one interception and three passes defended. His 98 tackles, four forced fumbles and 5.5 sacks are all career highs for Roach, who according to Bleacher Report, has gone from a utility man on the Chicago Bears, to the defensive leader on the Raiders this year. Roach is No. 23 in tackles in the NFL with 98 and tied for No. 3 in forced fumbles with four.
