While Northwestern has no basketball alums currently playing in the NBA, the Big Ten Conference has 30 alums playing for NBA Teams.

Shurna came to Northwestern from Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Ill. Shurna ranks No. 1 in Northwestern history in scoring (2,038 points), games played (130) and blocked shots (136), and No. 2 in games started (128), field goals (704) and minutes played (4,132). Shurna was the 2012 Big Ten scoring champion and a three time All-Big Ten conference selection.
