NU Lax’s uniforms are cooler than yours

Ever since Northwestern switched from Adidas to Under Armour, the athletic department’s swag factor has taken off. There may be the occasional misstep (Wounded Warrior jerseys anyone?), but just about every uniform Under Armour has put out has been on-point. Today’s lacrosse jersey is no different.
With two Under Armour-sponsored teams both in the top 5 playing the first ever Big Ten Conference lacrosse game, you knew Under Armour was going to pull out all the stops, and what better way to do that than to go with an old favorite: the gothic uniforms.
No doubt the #B1GCats will look good when they take the field tomorrow thanks to @UALacrosse & @UnderArmour. #B1GLaxpic.twitter.com/7pa6Z0cfbu

Those seven stars on the shorts represent NU lax’s 7 national championships. Pretty sweet symbolism. Even the sticks are getting gothic-ed out.

The team looks to be loving it, and we do too. Think they make a shirt for men?

I’m wearing my “Gothic” T-shirt that I got from the basketball game… though it may be underneath my jacket/coat if it is too cold. Though I’m not usually a big fan of these alternative uniforms, NU Gothic makes snese, since it strongly relates to campus and the “ye olde” signs in front of most buildings on campus.
