An honorary member of the Northwestern University Athletic Hall of Fame, Dave Eanet has been the voice of Wildcat football for over 25 years now. Last season Northwestern athletics honored Mr. Cat by naming his perch at Ryan Field “The Dave Eanet Broadcast Booth.” Eanet has also been calling Wildcat basketball since 1996 and has held the title of sports director at WGN Radio since 1996. Our Jesse Kirsch and Jason Dorow spoke with Eanet about his experiences at WNUR Sports, craziest moments in broadcasting and Northwestern’s football hot start in 2015.
