Sportsathon ‘CatChat: Brian Davis

The WNUR Sports ‘CatChat series is back for the fifth annual Sportsathon! In these interviews, we’ll talk to WNUR Sports alumni about their time at the station, awesome moments as a Northwestern student and their experience in the professional world. You can learn more about Sportsathon here.

A proud Northwestern graduate and WNUR alum, Brian Davis is entering his eighth season as the TV play-by-play voice of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Davis began his professional sports broadcasting career with the Chicago Blackhawks, before moving on to cover everything from the Olympics to the Michael Jordan era in Chicago to Pac-10 college football. He has called games professionally in four sports, including basketball, football, hockey and soccer. Our own Will Greer and Josh Wasserman sat down with Davis to discuss his extremely successful career.
