Northwestern took a step up the rankings after squeaking by Penn State Saturday, moving from #21 to 18th.

With 3 games remaining, Northwestern can still climb into New Year’s Six territory if they can run the table against Purdue, Wisconsin, and Illinois.  Northwestern is also ranked 24th in both the AP and Coaches Poll.
