Northwestern effectively needs to be in the top 11 of the CFP Rankings to make a New Year’s Six bowl game, and if this is any indication, the Wildcats are going to be right in the thick of it.

Above them are North Carolina, who could definitely get crunched by Clemson and fall below Northwestern, and Stanford, who might slide if USC can give the Cardinal a beat down.

Either way, Northwestern fans are going to have serious rooting interests on Championship Saturday.
