Northwestern Women’s Basketball forward Nia Coffey was named to the Wooden Award late season Top 20 list. The John R. Wooden award is given annually to the most outstanding Women’s College Basketball player.

Coffey also was on the award’s preseason Top-30 and midseason Top-20 List. Coffey is joined by six other Big Ten honorees including Rachel Banham, Brionna Jones, Kelsey Mitchell and Ariel Powers.

Coffey is averaging 20.0 PPG and 10.4 RPG heading into Wednesday night’s game vs. Penn State. She’s one of just three Division I players averaging 20+ PPG and 10+ RPG.

The winner award will be presented the weekend of April 7-9, 2016.
