It’s been a good week for Tre Demps and Bryant McIntosh.
After the backcourt combo combined for 40 points in Thursday’s win over Penn State and helped Northwestern beat Nebraska on Senior Day, the two were recognized on Monday as Honorable Mention All-Big Ten performers this season.
McIntosh was recognized by Big Ten coaches and media, while Demps was voted in by the media. It’s the first such honor for McIntosh, while Demps made the Honroable Mention list for the second straight year.
Demps is averaging a career high 15.5 points per game this season, good for 12th in the conference. Meanwhile, McIntosh is averaging 6.7 assists per game, which trails only Big Ten Player of the Year Denzel Valentine in that category.
