Northwestern Women’s basketball announced their 2016 non-conference schedule today in a release:

The Wildcats will open the season with home contests against Hampton, Oral Roberts and Missouri State. Following that, Northwestern will travel to DePaul on November 19th.

Northwestern will return home for four consecutive games after that, highlighted by visits from Florida, who finished 4th in the SEC last season, and Virginia as part of the previously announced Big Ten/ACC Women’s Challenge. As well, Evansville and Chicago State will visit Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Following a short trip to take on Milwaukee on December 11th, UIC, the third Chicago-area team on the Northwestern schedule, will visit Welsh-Ryan on December 13th.

The Wildcats will then head west to face Santa Clara on December 17th and Gonzaga on December 19th, before closing out their non-conference schedule with a  home contest against UT-Martin on December 22nd.

Later this month, Northwestern and the Big Ten will announce dates for the Wildcats 2016-17 Big Ten Conference schedule.
