Sophomore left-hander Quinn Lavelle threw a two-hit shutout to lead the Wildcats to a 1-0 victory over the San Jose State Spartans in Game 1 of a three-game series. This was the 2nd complete game shutout of Lavelle’s career, the last coming on March 30, 2018 vs. Maryland.
