The Evanston Power Surge (trademark pending) continued this weekend in Evanston, and junior shortstop Shawn Goosenberg led the charge. Goosenberg hit four home runs in three games against Rutgers, upping his season total to a team-leading 10 homers. That included a walk-off solo shot in the 12th inning of Friday’s win, a deep blast to left-center field to clinch a 6-5 win. The win was Spencer Allen’s 100th as Northwestern’s manager.
