Donations for WNUR Sportsathon are now open! CLICK HERE to leave your contribution. Please ensure that your gift is being directed to WNUR Sports by clicking on the “WNUR Sportsathon” option under gift designation.

WNUR Sports has new donation premiums for this year’s Sportsathon! Important: At the bottom of the donation page, please state which premium you would like to receive and what size in the designated box. The premium eligibility plateaus are as follows:

$10 – WNUR Sports Laptop Sticker (available in the colorway below or our traditional logo)

$35 – WNUR Sports T-shirt and Laptop Sticker (Please state the size of t-shirt you would like in the comments, as well)

$55 – WNUR Sports Hat and Laptop Sticker (Hats are one size fits all and will likely feature an “89.3” on the back.)

The Sixth Annual WNUR Sportsathon is set to kick off Friday, November 11th, at 3:00 pm and continue until Saturday, November 12th, at 8:30 pm. The event is almost 30 straight hours of sports programming on WNUR 89.3 FM and This year’s Sportsathon will include live coverage of at least six different Northwestern sporting events, including women’s basketball and volleyball games on Sunday, November 13th. Click here to hear why WNUR Sports alumnus and lead studio host for the Big Ten Network Dave Revsine believes Sportsathon is so important. 

Sportsathon is the lone fundraiser for WNUR Sports throughout the year. The funds raised are used to improve the station’s equipment and assist in travel for road trips throughout Big Ten country and around the nation for events such as bowl games, the women’s lacrosse Final Four, and the men’s and women’s Big Ten Basketball Tournaments.
