SPORTS DIRECTORS

Raghav Khosla (@RaghavKhosla15) is a sophomore from Long Grove, IL who is studying journalism and International studies. He is an avid fan of the Atlanta Hawks, Braves, and Falcons, and is a big Chelsea supporter. Raghav previously served as a co-host of SportsVoice, and has loved his year and a half being a part of the WNUR Sports community. He looks forward to calling soccer and volleyball again in the fall!

Perri Kitei (@PerriKitei) is a junior from New York City studying journalism. The teams at the top of her fandom list are the Bengals, the Cubs and Northwestern, of course. WNUR was the first student organization she joined on campus and felt like a part of its community immediately. Over the last two years, first hosting SportsVoice and serving as podcast director, Perri has fallen in love with this station and the people that make it run. Some of her favorite memories are calling both March Madness games, broadcasting Northwestern’s first upset over #1 Purdue, traveling to Los Angeles to call women’s soccer, and going on her first women’s basketball road trip in a blizzard to Wisconsin. She would describe WNUR as a community bonded by a love of sports and telling its stories, and is ecstatic to spend the upcoming year as one of WNUR’s sports directors.


EDITORS-IN-CHIEF

Mikey Capobianco (@Mikey_Capo1) is a freshman from Port Washington, NY double majoring in journalism and International studies. He is a massive fan of the Yankees, Knicks, Jets, Juventus, and the Italian national soccer team. Mikey’s favorite WNUR moment was his first call, when he broadcasted the quarterfinals of the Big Ten men’s soccer tournament, and looks forward to getting to travel with the station next winter!

Anna Watson (@adub_sports) is a freshman from New Orleans, LA studying journalism. She is a big fan of the Saints, Manchester City, Clemson athletics and Vanderbilt athletics. Her favorite WNUR memory is calling her first basketball game.


PODCAST DIRECTOR

Ethan Segall (@SegallEthan) is a sophomore from Highland Park, IL studying journalism. He is a big fan of all Cleveland teams: the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers. Ethan would describe his two years so far with WNUR as an “unreal experience,” and his favorite memory in his time at the station is traveling to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to call Northwestern softball’s super regional playoff series.


SPORTSVOICE PRODUCERS

Claire Conner (@claireconner_) is a first-year from Los Angeles, CA studying journalism, political science and data science. Outside of NU sports, she is a big fan of the Dodgers, the Lakers and UCLA football. WNUR station members have truly become a second family for her, and she would describe the present time as “the good old days” of Northwestern sports. Claire can’t wait to laugh, banter and make memories with my friends here for years to come!

Sammy Krimstein (@SKrimstein) is a first-year majoring in Journalism from North Potomac, MD. He’s been a massive sports fan his entire life, rooting for all teams Chicago!! Go Cubs, Bears and Bulls! WNUR has been an incredible experience for Sammy so far, and he is grateful that the station has provided him incredible opportunities to develop as a sports journalist, as well as an amazing community that he cherishes so much.


DIGITAL CONTENT CREATORS

Adam Beck (@AdamCBeck18) is a sophomore majoring in Journalism and economics from Miami, Florida and NYC. He’s a massive South Florida sports fan and loves all things Heat, Dolphins, Panthers and Marlins. His favorite WNUR memory is broadcasting Northwestern’s Las Vegas Bowl victory over Utah back in December.

Dylan Friedland (@miamiguydylan) is a sophomore studying journalism and political science from Aventura, Florida. He roots for all south Florida sports teams but the Florida Panthers and Miami Dolphins are his top teams. WNUR has allowed hun to meet so many friends who he shares a passion of broadcasting with. Dylan has also had the opportunity to call some great games, including traveling to Minneapolis for a women’s basketball game against Minnesota and the men’s basketball win over Michigan State.

Taylor Hancock (@taylorhancock23) is a first-year from Atlanta, GA majoring in journalism and political science major. She’s a fan of a lot of different sports teams: Boston Celtics, Clemson football, and Northwestern basketball. WNUR has created a lot of fun memories in her first year at Northwestern, specifically her first call for a women’s basketball game and being a guest on Crashing the Boards! She’s also looking forward to having more fun co-hosting Her Take!


SOCIAL CHAIR

Griffin Senyek (@griffinsenyek) is a sophomore from Arming, NY double majoring in journalism and economics. Griffin is a diehard Mets and Jets fan. Griffin will always remember WNUR Sports most for the people who make it so special, and is grateful for the incredible opportunities he has been given by the club to broadcast various Northwestern sports.


MEMBER OUTREACH CHAIR

Eliav Brooks-Rubin (@eliavbr5) is a first-year from Washington, DC studying journalism. His favorite sports teams are the Red Sox, Celtics, New York Giants, Philadelphia Flyers, and all Northwestern teams. Eliav loves WNUR because it’s the first place he found where there’s a community full of people with the same passion as him. His favorite memory is calling the men’s exhibition game against McKendree: both his first call and Ryan Langborg’s first game in the purple and white. Eliav can’t wait to call his first soccer and volleyball games next fall and travel to away games for women’s basketball next winter.
