We’re excited to officially announce the date and time for the Second Annual WNUR Sportsathon. WNUR Sportsathon 2012 begins at 7 PM on Friday October 26, 2012, and will last 26 hours until 9 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2012.

Last year we raised $3,092 during WNUR Sportsathon. Our goal this year is to raise more money than we did during last year’s very successful event. Every penny alumni and listeners donate goes toward improving our broadcast operations. It helps us broadcast more games, both home and away, upgrade old equipment, and continue to provide the best coverage of Northwestern Wildcat Athletics around.

We will once again have t-shirts to give away as premiums, and raffle off tickets and other exciting prizes to donors.

The Second Annual WNUR Sportsathon will see the return of popular interview show, CatChat, and feature Northwestern’s football game against Iowa. We’ll also have many more returning and new shows for you to enjoy.
