Chi Chi Ariguzo scooped up by the Chargers

Northwestern LB Chi Chi Ariguzo expected to join #Chargers as a UDFA

As expected, Chi Chi Ariguzo was swiped fairly quickly after free agency began pretty quickly. Ariguzo was picked up by the San Diego Chargers, joining a linebacking corps that includes Melvin Ingram, Kavell Connor and Donald Butler. Ariguzo had a heck of a career with the Wildcats, with nearly 200 career solo tackles, back to back 100+ total tackle seasons in 2013 and 2014, and 8 forced turnovers during his career. Concerns about Ariguzo’s mobility and athleticism saw him drop down draft boards, but there should be a place on an NFL roster for a sure tackling linebacker with great instincts.
